One More Immersion. May 8-11, Santa Fe.
In December I celebrated my 8-OH! and it is actually the first birthday that seized my attention as a significant number! I understand the blessing of a long life and the opportunity it provides to review and reflect. As I do so, I recognize I have gifts to continue to bring to the world that are needed in these transformational times. Yet how might that form change as I embrace elderhood? And embrace it I do!
The Joy of Operating from Soul, Not Strategy.
My desire for a different rhythm has come from living by the wisdom: Don’t Push. Don’t Hold Back. I’ve watched what has come to my door without marketing—or updating my OG website 
— and have responded accordingly. I have remained busy, I love my work, and the people I have met through Transformational Speaking have become my extended global community. Yet I have no “push” left in me; only the pull of what I sense is emerging. My creative life is calling with two books that are asking to be written, and I began a new workshop series in Transformational Listening™ last week.
Why an Immersion now?
Two women I am eager to serve have asked for support, and it is their time. One is ready to speak beyond her corporate role and discover what is hers to say, and the other is ready to address the fear that has stopped her from accepting invitations to large platforms.

Our time is now. How are we to engage in what the world is asking of us? Our voices matter as does our attention to our wellbeing and clarity of stance. This is the work of my wisdom years as I consider my role in the world today.
An Ally for These Times.
In January, during the inauguration, I was in Mexico reflecting on how I am to engage now without being drowned in negativity. My group went on a whale watch and I stayed behind, alone on a pristine beach, to listen for guidance. As I looked up from my journaling, I observed a pelican soaring over the roiling waves, remaining watchful, and when it was time to act, diving down in a straight line.
I now carry Pelican medicine with me daily. I’m reminded to fly above the turbulence, alert and aware, poised to act decisively on behalf of what I hold in my heart: a world that works for all of Life.
