In 2010, Real Speaking® became our “train the trainer” program for interpersonal communications, designed to advance self-discovery and “getting real” in one’s life.

A Proven, Transformational Training to Offer Your Clients
The foundational work of Real Speaking, which has grown and deepened and been refined over years of experience with clients, represents a proven, transformational training. Coaches, consultants and healers can expand their client base with an established program they can offer in various formats, from individual coaching and consulting to large public workshops. The stand-alone modules can also be offered as individual sessions within a conference setting, providing a range of offerings to support your speaking career.
The Training Process and Modules
We meet for five days of study and practice in Santa Fe, which includes offering a public workshop to demonstrate your growing capacity and advance your learning with a “live”audience. Regular follow-up group calls are scheduled to support the growth of your Real Speaking work.
Modules you will learn to facilitate include:
- The Home Zone™ and Original Medicine, personal touchstones for self-knowledge and the expression of truth
- The JourneyWell Wheel of Life, a deep investigation into where we currently stand in our lives to acknowledge and accept where we are (instead of where we want to be, or where the culture tells us we should be)
- Courageous Conversations, in support of creating the better story we know is possible
- What’s Real/What’s Next, based on full engagement in this courageous journey called life.
Available Designations
- Real Speaking® Facilitator for those who apply the training to their existing work with private clients, typically in consulting, coaching, and healing arts.
- Real Speaking ® Certified Trainer for those who offer Real Speaking public workshops.
The initial training for both designations is the same. Those who wish to earn the Certified Trainer designation continue on by videotaping their workshops for evaluation and feedback by Gail and through peer review.
Future Designations
The foundational training is not designed to train you to teach public speaking skills; that is a later apprenticeship program with Gail that will be available only to Real Speaking Certified Trainers.
Eligibility
The training is by application and available only to those who have completed a Real Speaking or Transformational Speaking Immersion..
Next Training Date
Not yet set. Several candidates are on board for the facilitation designation, and Gail is seeking others who want to progress to an apprenticeship role.
